
The Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Eta Tau Lambda Chapter is sponsoring our Annual Scholarship Program in conjunction with the Alpha Library Committee, Inc. The program benefits graduating seniors from the Summit County schools. Since the inception of the scholarship program, we have awarded over $600,000 in scholarships to Summit county students to assist in the pursuit of higher education.

To qualify for the scholarship, students must provide the following criteria:
- Family income status
- Letter of recommendation from a principal, teacher, counselor, or coach
- Possess a 3.0 or above high school G.P.A.
- High school transcript
Essay requirements:
- 300-500 word typed (double spaced)
- Topic: Describe a significant challenge you have faced and how it shaped who you are today.
