Representative Sykes, Minority Leader in the Ohio House of Representatives, will discuss how her work in office reflects Dr. King’s vision and dream. The event is free.
Representative Sykes has worked to improve public health, increase access to health care, combat Ohio’s high infant mortality rate and expand voting rights. Her work on domestic violence issues has earned bipartisan praise and resulted in her legislation to protect people in dating relationships, House Bill 1, becoming law.
