On Saturday, December 4, 2021, the Alpha brothers of Eta Tau Lambda, Delta Alpha Lambda, Pi, and Epsilon Delta chapters co-hosted our annual Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Founders Day luncheon at the Alpha Center in Akron, OH. Operating under the strict COVID-19 guidelines and wearing masks, brothers still found a way to enjoy the celebration of the fraternity’s founders.
Brother Lateef Saffore, PhD, from Delta Alpha Lambda chapter, served as the keynote speaker and shared his the research and composition of his book, “Origin of The Alpha Motif,” that explores the background of the Jewels, early initiates, old members and affiliates of the social study club, literary society, and the fraternity prior to arriving at Cornell, during enrollment at Cornell and their life’s path after Cornell).
