Our Go-to-School/Go-to-College initiative, which is a mandated National Program of our beloved fraternity, focuses on providing an environment of hope and possibility for high school students in their pursuit of higher education. Each year we honor disadvantaged Akron-area students who have shown outstanding academic achievements during their high school years. After over forty- three years we have awarded more than $650,000 in scholarships and are currently sponsoring 18 students at many different colleges and/or universities throughout the country.

The program benefits graduating seniors from the seven (7) Akron Public Schools High Schools and Summit County. The Eta Tau Lambda chapter rewards up to ten (10) $2000.00 dollars scholarships. Each student will receive $500.00 dollar per year. Students must be enrolled as a full time student in a four year program. Those students who are enrolled in a dual degree program could be eligible for an additional (5th) year.
